How about some history from 1890?

This NC, Appalachian farm stay, sits by a river in a true mountain “holler”. The farm is featured in this book: “Red Hill, The Untold Story of the Whitson Brothers and Murder of Kit Byrd”. Hidden Holler GlampGround features two unique lodging spaces that can house up to 8 people. If tent sites are utilized the farm-stay can sleep 14 guests in total.

This 1890’s historic tobacco farm sits above Whitson Branch on 8 acres of forested mountain land next to the Toe River. You can walk to the river and experience one of the area’s last remaining walking wood suspension bridges.

We happily host intimate weddings and family reunions.

For larger groups there are several additional lodging options along our road that we partner with! Message us now for details and booking.
