Climbing in Balance was inspired by the work of the Outdoor Climbing Alternative who brought to light "Because safe climbing requires training and specialized equipment, it is trapped in the realm of privilege." We want to change that. Our stance is to create a welcoming space for anyone who wishes to pursue climbing education. Our mission is to provide holistic climbing education in an inclusive setting while embracing a connection with nature and honoring the mentoring tradition of previous climbing generations.
