NCOA alleviates the chore of driving around for hours in the NC Mountains looking for the perfect, safe places to take the family for a fun summer day outside playing in the water.
Guests jump in our shuttle to enjoy a worry-free stress-free day of exploring two off the beaten path places. Those who need car seats should contact us for options. Our first stop features a deep swim hole in the Toe River. The second stop is a waterfall located close to the road via a short, very steep trail. This stop features a small cliff jump into the waterfall pool below!
Children and adults alike love seeing critters swimming around them in the crystal-clear waters of the Toe and spring fed waterfalls. Who: Ages 5+. Requires an easy, short hike on a well-established moderately steep trail.
When: Our waterfall and swim hole tours last three hours and take place Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from June through August. Shuttles leave once a day at 12:30PM.
This trip does have a minimum group size of 4. If the minimum group size is not met guests can pay for the extra spots or be moved to a different time slot with more bookings or another trip option.
