Our river outpost is complete with a Tiny Hike Shop. The hike shop includes items like water, snacks, sunscreen, river shoes, rain gear and other items typically needed for folks on our river trips! We also have a few handmade antique barnwood signs for sell in the store as well as a few other odds and ends. The outpost also features art work from local NC artisans for purchase as well.
Ready to book? Most trips can be booked directly from the classes and trips page online. Fall and Winter booking require advanced booking of at least 36 hours. Some trips require us to schedule availability including privately guided trips, kayak instruction and private group outings/camps. For those trips we ask that you please contact us via the message box below, email, or by phone.

We have lodging options with more to come! Our featured lodging option for 2020 is our Root Cellar Tiny House complete with 1 free river tubing trip, its own grill, firepit and campsite. The farm was established in 1890 and is rich with history. Hidden Holler Glampground is only a short walk to the Toe River. What the future holds: Guide Housing, outside showers and shabby chic outhouse style restrooms, community firepit, pergola with outdoor kitchen with 3 unique lodging glamping sites. We will eventually be adding The Shabby Sheik Farm House Lodge that will be located in the drive through barn (view photo gallery). This will be an upper scale lodging option for larger groups and special events like weddings!
